Pinafore Boutique
Project Details
Location: Zebulon, NC
Our friend and client Dallas Pearce chose G&G Builders for the task of renovating a lovely 1915 structure into a modern 2,300-square-foot retail space in Downtown Zebulon. We worked with our client’s wishes and decided to maintain an aged, nostalgic look both on the interior and exterior of the building to honor its history; we preserved a wood-roof structure composed of truss and beams, and updated the aged exterior just enough to give a nostalgic look for a modern boutique like Pinafore. Pinafore Boutique prides itself on its ability to provide fantastic service, top-quality products, and great customer satisfaction. Their dedication to excellence ensures a seamless shopping experience. The G&G Builder team is excited to watch them grow in this amazing new space.
A Word from the Client
I recently bought two old buildings in downtown Zebulon as an investment to renovate and use as rental property. These buildings were built around 1915 and were in much need of repair. Certainly one of the biggest challenges was how to renovate and keep as much of the old buildings’ charm by using and working around the 100+ year old materials in these buildings. And of course, another main issue was making the old and new materials work together and meet current building code. I must say there was a lot of starting, stopping, and changing direction for the pieces to fit. This project would not have happened if it were not for G & G Builders, who were my General Contractor’s. I can’t say enough good things about their staff and the care they took with me getting the job done. And more importantly, getting the job done the way I had envisioned it! A special thanks to G & G’s MIchael Blackmon & Justin Jackson, along with Wade & Travis for their on site meetings to ensure the job was done right and to my liking! Thanks again.
